little nestling
spread your wings
feel the cool air
under them
as you are lifted
among us
seek the updraft
that pulls at your pin feathers
until they are gone
soar on the up rush
the flow that moves the invisible
that motivates the volumes
you climb
rising
circling
as the earth becomes little
underneath you
perspective is everything
as you claim your
place in the sky
welcome
among us
word warrior
teller of stories
be strong
