The light falls softly
like an expectant kiss
in baby soft bundles
caressing cherry red lips
and the spaces between
foreground and background
actualizing the hope
of the sharp light in her eyes
a fragile emotion
youth framed
in the passing of this instant
as if the soft breath of the shudder
chants an incantation
spoken in a stage whisper
what mystery will unfold
